Welcome, Winters is a small farming community about 35 miles west of Sacramento, Ca. If this is your first visit to this site I hope you find something to your liking.

 If you visit Winters make sure you stop at Tomat's restaurant, they have the best food in town! Don't forget to visit Winters the last Saturday in April for "Youth Day".

  Winters is located in Yolo County just off Interstate 505. The population of Winters is about 5400 and GROWING ! The crops grown in the Winters area are shipped throughout the world, almonds and walnuts are shipped to Japan, Spain and several other countries. We have mild winters and warm summers which makes this an excellent area for farming. The Monticello Dam and Lake Berryessa, which offers the area some great boating and fishing, are located just 11 miles west of town. I have only lived here since 1982 but I feel that Winters is "my town". The schools are above average, the people are friendly and the town is a joy to live in.
